[ Service 03 — Our services ]
Furniture
One-off pieces with a backbone.
[ What it entails ]
Drawn around you,
built in our yard
Tables that seat the whole clan, beds that never creak, media walls that swallow the cables — every piece drawn around your room and built with proper joints: dovetails, mortise-and-tenon, wedged through-tenons you can see and trust.
Tables & seating
Dining tables, benches and desks in wide oak or ash boards, built to be re-oiled for generations.
Beds & bedroom
Silent bed frames, wardrobes and blanket boxes, fitted to sloping ceilings and awkward alcoves.
Media walls
Floating units, hidden cable runs and acoustic slatting — the television tamed in timber.
One-off commissions
A chair for a corner, a box for an ashes urn, a table for a violin — if it is wood, we will draw it.
[ How it goes ]
From first measure
to final oil
Sketch & measure
We visit, measure and sketch options — usually three directions at three honest prices.
Full-size thinking
Templates and mock-ups where it matters, so a chair fits before it is built.
Bench build
Two to five weeks depending on the piece, with progress photos from the bench.
Deliver & sign
Delivered, levelled and waxed — and signed underneath, as is proper.
[ Kind words ]
“Our table seats fourteen at Christmas and still looks new. The children will fight over it one day.”

[ Questions ]
Can you match existing furniture?
Usually yes — bring a drawer front or a photo and we will match species, colour and moulding as close as timber allows.
How do I care for an oiled table?
Coasters for the everyday, re-oil once a year, and never fear a ring mark — it sands out. We show you how at handover.
Do you repair as well as build?
We do: re-gluing, re-polishing and revival of tired pieces, ours or anyone's. Send photos and we will tell you honestly if it is worth it.
Let's talk furniture
Send a few photos and rough sizes — we will reply within two working days with next steps and an honest price.
