Cedar-lined sauna beside a calm bedroom retreat

[ Service 02 — Our services ]

Bathrooms

Wet rooms in timber that laugh at steam.

[ What it entails ]

Drawn around you,
built in our yard

Timber and water can get along — if the detailing is ruthless. We build vanities, cedar saunas, bath panels and steam-proof panelling with ventilated backs, sealed end grain and marine-grade finishes, guaranteed against the damp.

Vanities & storage

Wall-hung or standing vanities in oak or walnut, with stone-topped options and soft-close everything.

Cedar saunas

Bespoke sauna cabins sized to your room, in clear cedar with proper ventilation and benches that stay cool.

Panelling & cladding

Steam-proof tongue-and-groove and feature walls, fixed on battens so air keeps moving behind.

Bath panels & details

Shaped bath panels, mirror frames, duckboards and stools — the small timber that finishes the room.

[ How it goes ]

From first measure
to final oil

1

Damp survey

We check ventilation, falls and waterproofing first — timber only goes where the room can carry it.

2

Draw & sample

Drawings plus real finish samples to steam-test at home: oil, lacquer or soap, your call.

3

Workshop build

Three to five weeks on the bench, sealed on all six sides before anything leaves the yard.

4

Fit & seal

Fitted around your sanitaryware and tiler, then finally sealed in place and guaranteed in writing.

[ Kind words ]

“From the first measure to the final oil, everything was careful and clean. Our bathroom finally feels like a retreat.”

[ Questions ]

Will timber really survive a bathroom?

Yes, detailed properly: sealed end grain, ventilated backs, and finishes made for wet rooms. Our bathroom work carries the same ten-year guarantee.

Do you install the sanitaryware too?

We fit our joinery around your plumber's first fix and coordinate directly with them — one less thing for you to manage.

Cedar or oak for a sauna?

Cedar for the hot room — it stays cool to touch and smells wonderful. Oak or thermo-ash for benches and duckboards outside it.
